Published since 1917, Michigan History is about—and a part of—Michigan's fascinating past. Every colorful 64-page issue tells the exciting stories of Michigan people and their impact on their communities, the nation and the world. More than a magazine, Michigan History also offers a variety of Michigan heritage products and other publications.

New in 2001, Michigan History for Kids and The Mitten make our state's past fun and Michigan History for Kids, Statehood for Michigan issue entertaining for young readers. Michigan History for Kids is a 24-page, colorful quarterly magazine that covers topics like sports, lumbering, the Civil War and the Upper Peninsula.
