Earl “Dutch” Clark enters the Professional Football Hall of Fame.

A rival coach of the Detroit Lions once said that if Earl “Dutch” Clark “stepped on the field with Red Grange, Jim Thorpe, and George Gipp, [he] would be the general.” Born in Colorado in 1906, Clark led the Lions to the National Football League championship in 1935.
